STAR FLEET XTREME

 SFX Officer Protocols

THE FOLLOWING ARE RULES THAT ABIDE TO ALL STARfLEET XTREME OFFICERS AND MUST ALWAYS BE ACKNOWLEDGED.  FAILURE TO OBEY PROTOCOL MAY RESULT IN DEMOTION OR EXPLUSION FROM SFX.

When a SFX Officer of higher rank is present, he/she assumes command of the situation.  All Officers of lower rank are to follow the orders of the highest ranking Officer present.

All members are to acknowledge treaties signed between clans.  Disregard of any treaty will result in the loss of command and possible demotion.

ANY inapporpriate language during gameplay will not be tolerated.

All SFX members have the right to object against orders issued by higher ranking officers if it is inappropriate.

All Starfleet vessels are to immediately respond to ANY distress calls from ANY vessel, except those of who we are at war with.

First contact is always to be made peacefully.  Unless otherwise stated by a higher-ranking officer.

All commanding officers (Commander and above), are responsible for the orders that they issue.  Therefore, after a simulation, a commanding officer may be commended or denounced for their actions.

All Starfleet vessels are NOT to fire at any vessel unless first provoked upon.

The safety of your ship is of utmost priority.  However, if involved in a combat situation, all Starfleet officers are not to destroy the enemy vessel unless authorized by a higher-ranking officer.

If there are two commanding officers with the same rank, then command will fall to the one with greater tactical ability (the one with the better ship).  If both have the same ship, then please, share.

All ships are chosen are Federation ships.  Unless given special permission by Fleet Admiral Jansen, all SFX members are to use their representative ships each time they enter an SFX game.

Each time your vessel is destroyed for any reason in an SFX game, a member is to report that their ship was destroyed, and to add an endletter to their ship's registry (eg. If USS Centaur NCC-88980 were destroyed, it would return as USS Centaur NCC-88980-A).  Each time a ship is destroyed, a report must be filed to Fleet Admiral Jansen so he can change the registry of the ship on the site.

All Starfleet officers are not to falsify any information in their reports or logs.

The highest ranking officer at the end of a game must make a log in the FLEET'S LOG, so members who could not attend could know what went on.  Any officer who wishes to make a log when on duty using their clan name may do so, by stating their name and ship at the beginning of the log.

IF ANY VESSEL IS TO OPEN FIRE ON A COMMANDING OFFICER (Captain and above), ALL SFX MEMBERS ARE TO ENGAGE THE HOSTILE AND DESTROY ITS WARP CORE.

A Starfleet Xtreme officer is encouraged to use their clan name in non-clan related acitivities.  However, by doing so, the Officer's Protocols do apply.

FINAL NOTE: HAVE FUN AND ENJOY
